In this machine, the lower punch stays stable whilst the upper punch fills the material with a compaction force, this action is similar to the stamping process and that is why itis also called the stamping process. 
Advantages: This machine has many advantages and is often used in research and development. The tablet press machine is most suitable for the small-scale production batch. The compact design of the machine saves space as it does not take up much space. Moreover, it is easy to operate and it can operated without any advance training. 

  • Multi-station Tablet Press Pharmaceutical Machine

Multi Tablet Press machine is also known as Rotary Press, this machine consists of the multi-station press which has a set of dies with both upper and lower punches that are in rotary motion. 
Advantages: Multi-station tablet press has high-productivity because it requires less labor. It can produce approximately 2,00,000 tab/hour which saves time and meets the high-demand for producing maximum tablets. The machine allows independence to control both weight and hardness. 

Parts of Tablet Press Machine 

Typically, a tablet press machine process mainly uses the die and punches to fuse various powder particles to form a solid substance such as a tablet. This makes a tablet press an important machine but due to expensive nature, some companies opt for a used tablet press machine to save money and yet earn more revenue.   • Die system and Punches: It is in the die system where the powder granules are compressed into the powder. These steps include are not so easy as they seem. 

          A tablet press pharmaceutical machine has both lower and upper punches. The lower punches              as the name suggest, are in the lower section of the machine, they remain stable during the                  process of tablet making and hold the die. The upper punches are part of the upper section,                  they move in and out of the die bore like stamp or hammer. 

  • Feeder system: This is the feature that helps to feed granules in the die in the rotary system. 


  • Cam Trucks: Cam trucks take care of the movements or the position of the punches for the compression force and helps running the system systematically. 


  • Tablet Press Machine Turrets: This part ensures the smooth working of both die and punches in the machine. It is an essential part of the machine.


  • Filling station and weight control station: with the help of the different movements the tablet press machine is able to control the movements of cam track for accurate dosing and is able to manufacture smoothly. 


  • Compression roller: Depending on the design, you may have pre-compression rollers and the main compression system in the machine. However, the pre-compression rollers subject the material to the first compression force and help in removing any trapped air that exists within the cavity.
